Hachette Book Group (HBG) is a leading US general-interest book publisher and part of Hachette Livre, the world's third-largest trade and educational publisher. It publishes books and audiobooks across dozens of imprints, organised within several publishing groups: Little, Brown and Company, Little, Brown Books for Young Readers, Grand Central Publishing Group, Basic Books Group, Orbit, and the Workman Running Press Group. Hachette Audio is its audiobook publishing group. HBG also provides custom distribution, fulfillment and sales services to other publishing companies.

The scale of its editorial output is substantial. HBG publishes approximately 3,000 books and 700 audiobook titles a year. In 2024, 83 of its books appeared on the New York Times bestseller list, 21 of them at number one. Publishing activity spans trade and general-interest lists, children's and young readers' books, audiobooks and, through its parent, educational publishing.
