The British Broadcasting Corporation is a public service broadcaster producing television, radio and digital content for audiences in the United Kingdom and worldwide. Its output spans distinctive, world-class programmes intended to inform, educate and entertain, made across channels, networks and on-demand services that reach millions of people. Work is delivered under public purposes set out in the BBC's Royal Charter, with an editorial commitment to impartiality and independence and regulation by Ofcom.
