LightSpeed Studios is a global game development studio within Tencent Games. Founded in 2008 and operating as Tencent America LLC in the United States, it develops games across multiple platforms and genres, with an emphasis on compelling narratives, immersive gameplay design, and cutting-edge gaming technology. The studio's stated aim is to advance the art and science of game development; its teams are drawn from players themselves.

Its most prominent title is PUBG MOBILE, a tactical tournament mobile game co-developed alongside KRAFTON, Inc., which reports 400 million monthly active users globally. In total, the studio has created more than 50 games across multiple platforms and genres, serving over 4 billion registered users worldwide. LIGHTSPEED Universe sets out an ecosystem vision connecting players and developers around the world with next-generation gaming experiences across genres and devices, and enabling play anywhere, anytime.

Creative work is distributed across regional studios, including LightSpeed LA in North America and LightSpeed Japan Studio, led by game director Hideaki Itsuno. The wider organisation spans Shenzhen, China (headquarters), the United States, Singapore, Canada, the United Kingdom, France, Japan, South Korea, New Zealand and the United Arab Emirates, with distributed teams working on cross-platform and cross-device gaming alongside narrative design.
