Sofar Sounds produces secret live music concerts in unexpected spaces, turning caves, churches, living rooms, rooftops, gardens, catamarans, wax museums and other non-traditional venues into intimate stages for emerging artists. Founded in London in 2009, the company operates in more than 400 cities worldwide and draws on a network of over 10,000 venues. Its shows are built around an attentive audience and a centred artist, an approach the company describes as restoring live music's lost magic.

Alongside its concert series, Sofar Sounds runs an artist platform that serves as a launching pad for early-career musicians looking to build audiences. Tens of thousands of emerging artists have performed at its shows; alumni include Billie Eilish, Jack Harlow, Chappell Roan, Leon Bridges, YEBBA, Teddy Swims, Remi Wolf, Hozier and Lola Young. In the past four years, Sofar alumni have accumulated 129 Grammy nominations and 21 wins.
