Core of the Heart

Core of the Heart is a global Christian community led by Minister Johnny Chang that helps members understand Scripture and walk with God daily. Its work spans Bible teaching, devotionals, live events and digital resources, delivered through a technical stack built around digital content delivery, online community platforms, and live streaming of virtual gatherings. The organisation reports a community of over 2 million members.

The core output is a steady rhythm of published material. Weekly Bible Classes provide structured, simplified biblical lessons on a weekly cadence; Daily Devotionals run on a daily cadence; and Live Events broadcast gospel-centred teaching and Johnny Chang's ministry content. Digital Resources supply simplified lessons and tools designed to give clarity on Scripture. Community Connections ties the work together through Discord, Zoom gatherings, and in-person After Service events.

The ministry is active in faith and religion, spiritual education and discipleship, digital ministry and online community, and prison and recovery outreach. Johnny Chang spent over 13 years in the prison system and eight years sharing the Gospel in hospitals, prisons and recovery centres before a viral interview with Soft White Underbelly drew wider attention. The organisation describes itself as faith-based and Gospel-centred, with clarity, consistency and community as its core pillars, and an emphasis on testimony-driven leadership and genuine spiritual connection.
