Archdiocese of St. Louis

The Archdiocese of St. Louis is a Catholic ecclesiastical organisation serving more than 450,000 Catholics across the St. Louis area and ten surrounding Missouri counties. Its work spans four areas: a network of archdiocesan parishes, a system of Catholic schools, pastoral and charitable ministries, and administrative support offices headquartered at the Cardinal Rigali Center in Shrewsbury, Missouri.

Its schools form the largest component. The coalition of Catholic schools, founded more than 200 years ago by St. Rose Philippine Duchesne, educates over 50,000 students from PreK through 12th grade across an 11-county area. The schools describe their offering as a higher quality education rooted in a higher calling from God, a welcoming community for students and families, and preparation for a secure future. Pastoral and charitable ministries serve both Catholics and the wider community.
