The portfolio has been assembled through acquisitions of Raycom, Quincy Media and Meredith Corporation's Local Media Group.
Founded in 1891 with the Albany Herald newspaper in Albany, Georgia, and formerly known as Gray Communications Systems, the company divested its newspapers and pre-1993 television stations (WJHG excepted) to concentrate on broadcasting and production.
