Clipt is a staffing agency for video editors, connecting creators, agencies and startups with vetted editing talent from the Philippines. The work spans video editing, motion graphics and animation, podcast editing, YouTube content production and TikTok or other short-form content. The company says it draws on the top 1% of overseas video editing talent and looks for editors who care about the quality of their work.

Founded in 2020 by two college roommates, Clipt matches clients with pre-vetted editors whose style fits the brief, typically within days rather than months; clients write no job posts and run no screening of their own. The firm also handles the administrative side of overseas employment, including payroll and tax administration, so that hiring arrangements are managed in one place.

Editors are English-speaking and work while clients in the United States sleep, giving a time-zone advantage to production schedules. Clipt places talent at rates it puts at roughly 70% below those of US-based editors. The company operates between the Philippines, its talent pool, and the United States, its founding and client market, and serves verticals including content creation, YouTube, podcasting, short-form social video, digital marketing agencies, media companies and startups.

Clipt is bootstrapped. It was self-funded from the founders' COVID-19 stimulus checks, and describes a small, unbureaucratic working culture with no formal team-size figure published.
