Awesome Inc

Awesome Inc is a startup accelerator and technology hub in downtown Lexington, Kentucky, founded in 2009. The organisation works across the regional startup ecosystem, combining community events and education programmes with client-facing software work through its software arm, APAX Software, which builds custom web and mobile applications.

Its Fellowship Startup Accelerator has accelerated nearly 100 companies, which have together raised more than $240m in outside investment and created upwards of 1,000 jobs. Alongside it, the 5 Across Pitch Competition gives entrepreneurs five minutes or less to present their business ideas. Awesome Inc U runs coding education for youth and adults, including a Web Developer Bootcamp with guaranteed job placement for graduates and a 90% success rate. Technical work spans custom software development, web development, mobile app development and coding education.

The company also operates an 18,000 square foot collaborative workspace in downtown Lexington, serving entrepreneurs, innovators, learners and builders across Central Kentucky.
